On Wednesday, Nina Nine Tails filled in for Yadana again, and had a chat with Di from The Film Archive about their New Zealand music video  project, Ready to Roll.

While a day late, Sean O’Brien, did get in for the last Let’s Get Aggro for the year. All about drenching. Mate.

We had more Film Archive nattering, this time with Tessa Laird about her new exhibition, The Rainbow Reels.

2008 was a year of great technological advancement from the Large Hadron Collider to keyboard-pants, Tech Man Zan did a wrap up on Thursday - he sounds a bit blazed though…….

Finally, Yadana had a chat with Ant Timpson, the man behind The Incredibly Strange Film Festival and 48 Hour Film Competition is back this weekend for a 24 Hour Movie Marathon at The Paramount.

In the course of this adventure, he had a chat with newly elected Wellington Central Labour MP Grant Robertson about representative democracy, the parlimentary rugby team and his various opposition spokesperson roles. You can listen here.

Tel Aviv is then compared to Wellington City, and the Noelle McCarthy saga is re-exumed, with Cohen reporting the shocking comments he received after rushing to the National Radio presenter’s defense. Out of interest here is the recipe for ‘The Sidecar’, made by the Bar Squire himself. Its simple but sweet.

Fine Brandy or Cognac: 45 mls
Cointreau: 15 mls
Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice: 30 mls

Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill with crushed/cracked ice.  Shake vigorously and double strain into a chilled martini glass.
